Draft Day!

First, there's NO way, NO WAY that WAS is trading the #3 pick if Beal is on the board.

Secondly, I think it's odd that the only picks that aren't being tossed around as being trade bait are 6 and 11, and the only one of the big 6 or 7 that hasn't been said to be in play for us is MKG. It could mean that we are standing pat and/or we don't like MKG. But I find it interesting to look at what isn't being said.

I could see Waiters going high. Hopefully not to us, and definitely not using the #3 if Beal's on the board. But CLE? Sure, why not?

I'm sure Oshley knows PA is willing to CTC to buy a pick or sweeten a deal, remember, he can probably find a couple of mil under his couch cushions.

Must be such an odd feeling for him, coming from LAC.

1 thread please!!!!!!! There are 4 god damned threads about the draft!

I'm on vacation in France right now and had a wonderful day swimming in the river under the Pond Du Gard with family. Hot sunny day leading into going out for dinner in a couple hours. I should arrive home around midnight, just in time to catch up on the blazer news prior to the draft kickoff around 1AM.
Dude, been there a few times. That's close to my wife's neck of the woods. She'd kill to be there right now (especially with all the stinking rain we've been having). I'd better lay low. ;)

Man, this is going to be my last day in grad school today, and I am pulling an all nighter trying to finish my thesis on time. I love this site because it's a great place to just take a break from my shit. Hopefully, I get this stuff submitted by noon today so I can chill for a few hours before the draft. PUMPED.

Congrats on finishing grad school. After I defended, I went home and opened up the blinds and saw daylight in my apartment for the first time in two weeks. There was dental floss all over the floor -- just nasty. The good news is that I'd kept up the flossing, but I was apparently so distracted that I just dropped it on the floor. It was weird because I was totally unaware I'd been doing that.

Wife's going to hate me tonight because I'll either be watching the TV or checking my phone constantly.

All right, back from dinner, got a buzz, and ready for this draft bitches

I haven't felt this ambivalent about a draft since 2006.

That's good news I think!

Congrats on finishing grad school.

lol Thanks.

Unfortunately, I've had to delay this a day due to problems with my figures. But still PUMPED.

Hopefully, I get home by draft time.

Will be headed out from work soon with Zeded for beers and the draft. Please excuse and ignore any comments posted by me after the third round of the draught (25 oz beer that is).

Crapola -- pretty sure the draft wasn't carried on the radio in Seattle last year. To PO'd Sonics fans, it's understandably not exactly fun. Sure hope it's on the radio this year. If it's on, I'll drive slow. If it's not, I'll be pushing it all the way home.

I know others have mentioned it earlier, but this is the first time I've seen wheels in a long time ... Wow, good for him!
