At this point if they end up keeping the pick they should trade up and get the best C available for the system. The 2nds and 3rds are really no use to them right now so move up for the best player you can at C, like Lucious.

I'd be pretty shocked if we keep the pick actually, but we'll see.

Not sure I agree. There are a couple of power forward wing types with some nasty games that I would be all for them taking with so many pussy wings on our team.

Buffalo with 2 top 15 picks now as the loser Flyers try and revamp their D.

Would like to see them move up and get center mason macravish!

Buch just traded to the blues for Blais and a 2022 2nd

I would not be surprised to see them trade that second round pick and Jones to move into the latter part of the first round this year.

Of course the isles get aatu raty with pick 52. Lou has a 4 leaf clover up his ass!

Scouting reports on him were bad. Stating the bad things in his game were being exposed. He lacks confidence. He's not contributing in the men's league. Easy pass.

Two 3rd rounders

Jayden Grubbe 6'2 200 C from Red Deer
Big C who had ACL replacement and only played a handful of games this year.

Ryder Korcak 5'10 160 C
Rated in the top 60 consensus wise and draws Gaudreau comparisions with his shiftiness.

Raty slipped but that a pretty good value getting him in the mid 2nd. The Rangers should've thought about moving up for him.

Fuck no. I want nothing to do with that kid. He can't score in the Finish league and that's not that hard to score in. I"m surprised the Rangers didn't take Boucher another power forward type who is ranked in the top 40 and is still available. Must be a red flag on that kid.

Reason that senile Lou took Raty is because he's doing what Sather did for years. Piss away all his first round picks on go for it now deals. So you have to take high risk picks and hope to hit lightning in a bottle.

That's a fair point on LL thinking but Raty was pretty much a top 30 consensus guy so it wasn't a big leap of faith. He was once projected in the top 5. With the state of the Ranger farm they actually could roll the dice and not feel bad if they get burned.

See, I don't think they can roll the dice. With Lafreniere, Shesterkin, Kakko, maybe Chytil, Miller all going to get paid down the line, they nee to take bottom 6 guys who are safe bets to fill those roles and will be cheap. The Rangers will be top heavy with salaries for years. Meaning, they have to constantly have role players in the prospect pipeline.

They had to trade for Goodrow and Blais because Gorton was incompetent with his euro pussy love and consistently didn't draft guys like Goodrow and Blais. Honestly, I hated the Kravtsov pick more every month after they made it. He's not what this team needs. I liked the Lias pick because of his grit. It was unfortunate he turned out to be a mental case. Though Quinn had something to do with it.

Rangers took two more forwards Boucher still on the board. Ranked 36 by THN. Not taken. Maybe he failed a drug test or something.

If not, I can't believe we took another 6'7 goalie. When will they learn. All those tall goalies turn out to be shit for us.

Oh shit Boucher went 10th overall. That’s ridiculous fucking Ottawa has no clue. I didn’t even look for him that early.

On the surface it looks like a good draft but we'll see, especially if the kid with the ACL develops. He's already ahead of Clark just by avoiding an Olof Lindbom in the 3rd round.

Just give me the first rounder working out and I’ll be happy

After looking at all the picks I like the way these kids look. Big, strong, can score and play with an attitude. It’s refreshing.

Amen. Most of our dumbass fan base, especially on HF and OTG doesn't realize the Rangers are going to be really top heavy with about 6 to 7 contracts. Meaning, 3 years from now you probably are going to need young, phsyical, nasty, decent talent level 3rd and 4th line forwards who will be breaking in the NHL and are cheap. So to me it's better to draft guys like Cuylle and Othmann than trying to find a 1st or 2nd line offensive player. The Rangers basically get almost every big free agent they really want. So, I'm not worried about them having top line talent.
