Damn....Portland was trying to get one of Philly's picks from what I was told.

They still have three second rounders but cannot trade them for cash anymore.

Wish I had one to share. Discussions still going on but from the sounds of it, the Blazers/Olshey don't want to give up anything unless it's pure junk.

This year is also missing from last year:

- "let's trade #24, unprotected 2020, unprotected 2022, $5M cash plus Meyers to get rid of his contract"
- "let's trade Leonard, #24, Swanigan, Layman and a future 2nd for no. 4 and Parsons"

We don't have much outside of pure junk

Yes, trading CJ is the only way to improve this team... committing 50% of the salary cap to two undersized combo gaurds that don’t play defense is not a good plan, but stubborn ego maniac Neil refuses to break up the duo and admit he was wrong

I gotta say, after watching the playoffs i genuinely think we can afford to send at least 9 guys on our team without suffering any major consequences.
Who would you keep?

This is what I've been saying for so long. Everyone on the team is untouchable unless it's something other teams just don't want. Your never going to win this way folks.

Watch Neil take another undersized combo gaurd tonight!

Hopefully, he does! Both of our "undersized combo guards" would be top 2 or 3 in a re-draft, and we had a top 3 pick in neither of them! Great drafting by Neil, AS USUAL!

I agree they have outperformed their Draft slot...but on the downside, we then have two Top-3 players from their year's Drafts...and don't have a Playoff win to show for it in 2 seasons.

Neil asleep at the wheel again

Just curious, who did we select in the last draft? Ohhhh yeah... Bot malfunction... Syntax error...
OK--"watch Neil take another undersized combo guard," WABC, or second-round one-dimensional wing player.

That covers just about every Olshey draft pick the past 6 years (except Swanigan), right?

This is what I've been saying for so long (that it's aggravating as hell). In my extremely uninformed opinion, everyone on the team is untouchable unless it's something other teams just don't want. When I play with the ESPN Trade Machine, I do so much better than Olshey.

FTFY

This thread was created to record leaguewide trades after they happen in the real world. Since the only trade has been for Dwight Howard, and someone then started a separate thread for that, this thread devolved into a redundancy of other speculative ongoing draft threads. All active participants should be whipped.

I'll be honest, I thought there would be more moves than just the 2 that have happened so far.

  • Doward to Broolyn for Mozgov and two 2nd round picks + cash
  • Lakers acquire the #39 pick from PHI for a future 2nd rounder + cash.

Very slow so far.

Why the hell there are so many threads about draft, trades etc here ?
