Musa is gonna come here and get bullied. Watch.

Plus has NO D....

Yes he would get bullied his first year or two. But basically he is the same size has Batum when we drafted him. Now I am not saying he would ever be as good of a defender as Nic, just that he will get stronger. And his strengths on offense are hard to ignore for where we are picking. Seem like a low risk high reward pick.

"He is a leader and has a strong personality ... Not afraid of the big stage, since he is dealing with high expectations since he was 15 years old ... He plays with passion ... Has good size for a wing ... Versatile player who can play from point guard to small forward ... Better athlete than everyone thinks ... Has a good first step that helps him blow by opponents ... Has High basketball I.Q ... Natural scorer... He can create his own shot at a great level... Has a quick release that makes it difficult for opponents to block his shot.. Can score from anywhere on the floor... He can score off the dribble with ease ... Very good at scoring on straight line drives... Although he is a right hander he excels driving and finishing with his left hand ... He can catch fire at any time and score in bunches ... His Mid-range game has improved through the years ... He has added some floaters to his game, that have helped him evolve as a scorer ... His range has expanded and has gone all the way to up the 3-point line ... He has been used on Catch and Shot situations with mixed results, but potential is there... Good ball handler with a great change of pace dribble ... Knows how to use a screen set for him on and off the ball... Very good on Pick and Roll situations as the ball handler, can either find the rolling big or look for his own shot ... He can do the occasional coast to coast thanks to his ability to do a little be of everything ... Good passer... Has a good court vision and can find the open man when he is concentrated ... Probably the best player of his generation in Europe at creating contact and drawing fouls ... Has improved as a free throw shooter... Good rebounder for his position, expecially on the defensive block ... Knows how to read the game and make steals... Has active hands on defense ... He can be a solid defender when he is locked in... "

Looking at that; sounds as if he should go #1!

I agree Musa is also too skinny to contribute any time soon... but I’ll take a 6’9” stretch 3/4 over another 6’3” combo guard every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Yeah no kidding. They may have embellished a bit. But for a kid who just turned 19 I am intrigued.
My worry is about his maturity. Can he handle sitting if need be. Could Nurk help him adjust?

It says a lot about my maturity that it took me a good 30 seconds to realize you meant no defense. My mind went to an interesting place, I seriously asked myself, how do you know he doesn’t have a D...

Yeah, in Europe they remove those from boys as soon as they are born. They just lead to toxic masculinity.

[please nobody tell Nurkic I said that]

This is said about pretty much every European. The fact is he has been a pro since he was 16, going up against grown men. He’s more ready than most.

Trainer in video compares him to Klay.

So we’re definitely going to draft him and trade CJ. This is our Monta Ellis moment right?

You just made Gronk's pants tight :)

Anyone else notice that CJ is nowhere to be seen at these draft workouts?? Hopefully that is a good sign that Neil realizes trading CJ is the only option!

Name ONE euro that comes over and has good on the ball D.

I'll wait.

Huh??? Kukoc sucked at D and so BOTH Dragics...
Just testing you. Wondering if you blocked me like everybody else. No white player is a good on the ball defender let alone a Euro. But what about AK47?

I thought you meant he had no dong... which is why I commented about my maturity and it taking me a while to figure out you meant defense, and I think that also explains my comment about questioning how you would know...

Why does that matter? He’s training\working out back east. What does he have to be in town?
His girlfriend lives in NYC and I read he went to see his brother in Turkey as well...CJ gets around

Porzingis has pretty good defensive stats as a rookie. I don’t remember Sabonis being a “bad” defender. Was Loul Deng from Sudan or Britain I can’t remember? Anyways it’s not very often guys from Europe or the US come in as a great defenders, but I understand your point.
Oh Nicolas Batum, and Rudy Gobert I believe we’re mainly known for defense too.

Simons is an undersize combo guard, with a bad assist to TO ratio. When he passes. Just what we need.

Didn’t he go to lower Marion highschool?
yes, but his family moved to Italy when he was 6 and they didn't move back to the states until 1991....he basically grew up in Italy and speaks fluent Italian as well as Spanish..Kobe came over to the states for camps and school when he was old enough..he was actually born in Philly
