I think for most it comes back to the reports of Dame being stoked about playing with an athletic big (Bam) in the Olympics. The idea that Simmons would be the most athletic big Dame has ever played with.

Your opinion is noted. I find the discussion mildly interesting. And in all reality, the posts, while off-topic, weren't really deletion-worthy.

Primary goal was to remove them from this thread and from the main board, which was accomplished.

not only that, he'll be 35 in that option year when he'll be paid 27.6M. He's unlikely to opt out of that much money at that age

See this is yuck! Dray has lost a step and has been playing with a really quick 5 in Looney and now we're talking about moving a guy down to 3 who was fast at 4 which I'm fine with but the combined foot speed of Nurk and Dray would be a mess on defense and neither one of them can be counted on to consistently score. If we're bringing in Dray we have got to get a different C than Nurk.

That being said, I still can't stand Dray he's been getting worse the last few seasons both with his absolutely shitty behavior and losing what little athleticism he had to begin with. He's a good to great secondary play maker, he's an OK but not really good rebounder, he can be disruptive on defense and is a great communicator on that end of the floor but his days of being a great defender are long gone. I really hope we don't pay this guy a bunch of money and find someone much better to convince Dame to stay. Draymond would probably win us one or two more games than we would have won last season had we tried the entire season.

With those lineups above as our starting lineups we will be a play in team at best.
