here we go again boys, with us way over the cap for the foreseable future, i havent bothered with one of these for awhile, but MY HOW THINGS CHANGE.

in any event, we are going to have a SHITLOAD of different options next offseason, possibly being 30 MILLION DOLLARS UNDER THE CAP

this is our current situation, didnt know the oden "restructure" so just went with the QO

this is assuming wallace opts IN to his player option...this leaves us with about 21 million dollars to bring batum back, find a PG, bring freeland over etc. i actually really like our cap flexibility in this scenario
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is next year if wallace opts out

losing crash would hurt in this scenario, as we would likely just be loosing that talent for nothing, although we would be sitting pretty with 30 MILLION DOLLARS IN CAP ROOM! wtf
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

this is keeping wallace with a batum extension

im just kinda guessing that this is around what NIC will get if he has a decent season, could be a lil more...as you can see, still leaves us with around 17 million in cap room.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

this is keep wallace, modest batum extension, and felton extension

WALLACEBATUMFELTON.jpg

i find this the most likely scenario, we are gonna need to bring in a pg anyways, and if felton can play ok this year, i see PA throwing an extension at him, and retaining NIC will likely be a top priority....even in this scenarion we still have about 9 million in cap room after these moves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
my personal favorite, we let felton go, bring over freeland, keep wallace and batum, cut babbitt :)

we let felton go, maybe try and bring him back, maybe go with nolan, something. and yes it is time to bring over freeland, we need some goddamn big men over here. i have him slotted in for 5 million per. and if babbitt does nothing this year again, dont pick up his option, fuck him. this still leaves us with 14 million or so in cap room next summer
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

and the inevitable overpay and keep everyone including a max deal to oden

as you can see this puts us 20 million over the cap immediately and leaves us in cap hell for years all over again.

you know its going to happen, just accept it, search your feelings, and you will know it to be true.

and if anyone wants me to email them the spreadsheet, pm me, and we can trade dick pics or whatevz while were at it

if wallace opts out next offseason the blazers could have enough money for 2 near max contracts, would deron and howard want to superteam with LMA?

Yes, Deron and Howard would love to play with LMA in Brooklyn. Who do you think they will give us for him?
