Motorola has given birth to a new smartphone, and its name is Bionic.

A full 9 months after being unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the DROID Bionic, the newest Android phone from Motorola, has been released on Verizon. The 4G LTE device boasts a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 16GB storage with a 16GB removable SD card and a 4.3'' multitouch display screen. It's got a front camera and 8 megapixel rear camera, the ability to be a wireless hotspot for up to 5 devices and the latest build of Android, also known as Gingerbread. The DROID Bionic will cost $299 with a two-year contract from Verizon (fresh off its win ]url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/08/29/verizon-network-vs-att_n_940992.html]as the strongest network in America[/url], according to J.D.
