So they have 40 different uniforms, and instead, they're going to wear a throwback?

I actually kind of like the look of them. I don't like a lot of their new uniforms, though, so it isn't hard.

I stopped bitching about the uniforms a while ago. You just gotta roll with it and learn to love it.

The yellow helmets and the kelly green jerseys are classic, though. Should be pretty sick.

I don't necessarily disagree with the first part of this statement, but I really think the Ducks will slow down Best. Ducks will be geared up to stop the Cal running game, which may expose them for some big pass plays. But I would be surprised to see Best go off, especially with so much attention being paid to him.

The task is made a little easier (if at all possible) with Cal's Boateng (sp?) out.. one less WR to worry about. Hopefully we can key in on Best.

wow that design is weird! i haven't seen that video/topic before.

I can't believe you have let the wings grow on you :( they would have been so much better off just putting the word "Ducks" on each pad, or "Oregon" on one side and "Ducks" on the other...

lol yeah I thought those designs were odd. I dunno Just something about them have grown on me compared to the plating. The Chrome one is like sex on the eyes lol. Sorry to dissapoint Cloudy :)

well yeah the plating was an awful idea too. dammit why can't they just leave that area blank???

the "stormtrooper" unis look sharp (minus the wings); but some of their other combos like what they wore this weekend look horrible

yeah when I walked to the top of Auzten and saw the white helmets I was like WTF? But I was ok with the Green and Grey.. just needed the Green Helmets. Oh well.. And this is the university of Nike.. you know we cant just leave it blank lol.. I'm just glad we won the game. For the 4th quarter I could hardly cheer I was so nervous and wouldnt talk to anyone lol. Not even Drunk Jaison Williams. lol

i didn't even watch the game; i was too busy pre-gaming in corvallis. I did catch some parts of the 4th in the UDub/USC game though (although I did miss the end).

lol Basically the Ducks defense kicked butt.. And gave us an 18 point lead, and it vanished into 4 in literally 1 minute of game time. Oh and I met Jaison Williams, and he almost fell, I caught him, and he was drunk lol. Sorry about the cincy game by the way, was listening to it on the road.. was pulling for you guys.

I knew we were in trouble when our D forced two 3 and outs to start the game and the offense drove down the field, killed themselves with penalties, and were forced to kick 2 field goals. We really needed to score a TD or two there early to put a ton of pressure on Cinci. Then there was that horrible forward progress non-fumble that ended up being the backbreaker.

and nice save on Jaison Williams lol.
 
I think it's funny that before the season started, Duck fans weren't worried about the offense and were worried about the defense.

oregon state fans were worried about the defense and not worried about the offense.

now both teams are happy with the defenses and are worried about their offenses lol

Yeah at that game I was like.. "wow who thought I would be holding my breath when our O is out on the field.. but breathing a sigh of relief when I see the D walk on the field" Man what makes me think "what if" even more this year... what if they could have convinced Byrd to stay just one more year.. dang scary.

You do realize that the stitching on that practice jersey isn't a proposed pattern, it's only being used to test thread durability, right, lol?

I liked the diamond plate, but I hate the random color combinations. And I still REALLY hate the wings.

Those bad boys will end up being on Jerseys just you watch. I didnt hate the Diamond Plate ones.. I just think the wings make a lot more sense since they are Ducks afterall. But yeah the White helmets were a little random.

This duck fan, and the many I know, were all worried about the offense. We still are!!
 
Those are throwback? Weren't they late 90's? Akili Smith era? I don't think that's throwback. Throwback could be a Ricky Whittle jersey.
