Yeah, I'm going to go on a limb and say that when you have a C, a G, 2 TEs and a fullback taking on your 2 DL, they're going to get that edge.

When the fuck is Chip Kelly going to learn to not bother sending in the FG team. Going for it is a much higher % play with as good as our offense is, and as crappy as our defense is, and you only have to win that bet 50% of the time for it to pay off.
Dodged the bullet...but the D has to pick it up or we are toast.
Neither team can stop the other's offense. Why bother punting or kicking FGs?
Because Chip was thinking they were at that point where if they gave it up, it would be great position for USC, but it was on the edge of their FG range. Unfortunately our kickers suck.
Bad thinking because our chances of getting the 1st down are better than converting the FG. And missing a FG is even worse position. The offense was rolling! Chip just gave up 7 points there.
In this game, why even think about field position? It's all about turnovers and trying to hold the other team to a FG.
And now the Fox announcers grow their boners hard for USC... Hate not having local coverage.
