Oregon (of course) decidedly lost a game to those same Utes yet handled your Beavs more decisively then the score (great cheapshots btw). Injuries and other factors change the dynamics for every team going into a game and as tOSU coach Ryan Day recently stated..."The team that plays best often beats the better team". You are kidding yourself mightily if you don't think the Ducks have a real shot of going to another Rose Bowl. I'd site Vegas who has the Ducks as the same odds they did when the game was in Utah. sure...the injuries have hurt Oregon. Utah is feasting over the middle with their TE's; Oregon two starting safeties, Bennett Williams and Steve Stephens are out for the year with injuries, and their 2 best cover LB's, Justin Flowe and Dru Mathis are also out.

but those injuries don't have any bearing on the Ducks only generating 65 yards of offense in a half. Of course, it would help if the Ducks weren't getting penalties. 3rd & 2 turned into 3rd and 7, then a missed FG. A 15 yard gain on 3rd and 2 turned into 3rd and 17 on an offensive PI (bullshit call by the way). The Ducks have no margin of error, yet they are committing errors all over the field

he’s a great coach. He just beat Utah like this in pac 12 title game 2 years ago. He’s a great recruiter with a really young team. He’s a hot commodity as a coach throughout the nation.

my only gripe is that he’s way too damn conservative and needs to bring in an innovative offensive mind.
