Dude should not have been running. I'm sorry. Just not a good idea.

Brooks-James>>>Beniot This kid needs more carries!!!

Not when you're up 19 in the 4th quarter.
Why not? You want to pick up first downs and keep the ball. It's not like he dove head first. He slid...you're not supposed to get hit when you slide. It's like going out of bounds and having someone deliver a cheap shot out of bounds.

It's an unnecessary risk.

Should he just take a knee then? 3 knees and a punt? The Ducks defense hasn't exactly been "winning the day". You can't play scared, that's a good way to crap a game away. Sliding was the good move there.

Playing smart isn't playing scared.

Can we put some of these athletes in our secondary...

Attending the games might be the first tip I'd give them.

I'm not an expert in any way, shape, or form, so what do you change? Different scheme? Is this just something we have to live with until the guys get more experience?

Not picking up a 1st down because you're afraid to get injured is playing scared. If that isn't playing scared, I don't know what is.

Okay, you be the judge:

Meaningless first down in a game that's already decided?

Having a healthy QB against Michigan State next week?

What I saw was limited by my son's desire to watch Star Wars again, so I can't answer all the questions. I'm only so amazing.

It looked like we were very slow to get to positions, lagged behind receivers, and had trouble stopping anyone taller than 6'0" when they ran and used a stiff arm.

Maybe Eastern Washington is just that good, though.
