Durant tells CJ to get out of his feelings about the Demarcus Cousins signing. "Don't

I can't get the link to load. What shirt is CJ referencing?
Tweet's been deleted, apparently. It was just plain text saying "I just did your f***in podcast" (uncensored though).

I feel like all of these players have some extent of mental fragility. KD is just magnified because of his stage and his sorta transparent nature.

Kevin Durant brings us to our next vocab word! This one is a german word. @Labinot41 can correct me if I'm wrong, but the word is Fremdschämen and it roughly translates as feeling embarrassment for someone else. So...Kevin Durant and his idiocy elicit feelings of Fremdschämen in me; the guy is fucking moron. Or something along those lines.

Haha yes Fremdschämen is the right word:D

I hope next time we play the Warriors CJ delivers a Draymond kick to Durant's nards and gives him some real weltschmerz.

I hope that CJ takes it personal that Durant thinks he is a one-dimensional scorer that would be better suited as a sixth man coming off the bench. Maybe work on drawing fouls, and plus defense.

Didn't Durant essentially say "Dude, I know you want to play on the varsity team, but your place at school is back in the photography lab and chess club. But, if you ever want to be a ball boy for the basketball team let me know."?

I read Durant's comments as, "Hey, I'm touchy about the being a ring-chaser thing, but you should do it too. Maybe come be a sixth man for the Warriors when your contract is up?"

Since CJ is Jock commentator wherever he can, he must learn not to get to rattled if he brings out the best in someone.
In this case he's going to have where wear this for years to come. Thats ok it makes for good discussion I just want him to use the synergy to work harder at his priority craft.

I read it that way too, but you know Dame would say "sixth man? off your bench?? F that.". I think CJ should take that as somewhat of a slap down that he wouldn't be good enough to start beside Durant. I hope he would.

Past “dynasties” or great teams made me want to watch them just because I wanted to see them lose. GS I just hate everything about the post KD Warriors, it really does make me want to not tune in at all... I wish we bifurcate them right out of the NBA...

So many people here missed on how brilliantly CJ USED KD for his own gain here.

He basically got the biggest publicity possible for his podcast and he did it in great timing (slow part of the summer), every sports media guy is talking about his podcast now.

Players nowadays behave like politicians - animosity on stage , handshakes and plots behind the scenes.

Dame is probably a producer of the podcast... he does have a marketing degree, right? hmm...

Thinking about it now, it looks like a brilliant move. At first I was like, WTF. But it certainly will make those matchups larger going forward. And CJ just put more pressure on himself, and his teammates than before. But that's alright. The Blazers are building something pretty dawg gone good in Rip City. I believe they can handle the pressure. A lot of media , and fans are giving it to them after the Pelican debacle. Chalk it up to a growth experiment. Maybe Durant is pissed, and will make it his mission to try to humiliate the Blazers. But maybe, just maybe, this is awakening something in CJ as well.

My fear, though, is he may try to ISO -more-.

This is going to be great white board material for Terry Stotts. First day of training camp Terry just pulls up the podcast where KD is laughing in our face about no chance to win and not to worry about things up top. This is going to be great fuel for the entire season. Any time they get tired or what ever just bring up "Hey KD still thinks we have no chance". haha

Alwyas the voice of reason:

Durant and McCollum exchanged shots on Twitter on Wednesday. McCollum called Durant’s decision to go to the Warriors as a free agent in 2016 “weak” and said he betrayed his brothers with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Durant responded by calling McCollum a snake and cursing his podcast. Lillard said he wished the two would have just expressed their differences over the phone.

“I saw that he went on CJ’s podcast and they went back and forth. It sounded like they were joking, so I didn’t think much of it. But when I saw that they went on Twitter, I was like, ‘All right, they have each other’s phone number. It doesn’t have to go on Twitter. Call each other, man, and get it off y’all chest.

“It ain’t got to be on Twitter, because everyone is going to make a big thing about it and try to pit them against each other. People love drama. It doesn’t have to be all that.”

Dame is way more mature than his years. I think he's going to make an excellent head coach when his playing days are done.

Dame is one of those guys who I think will be excellent at whatever he decides to do with himself. Work Ethic, Personality, respectful, and maybe the most important thing is unlike most professional athletes who pretend to care because they have to, Dame seems to legitimately care about other people.
