yeah, the owners may get a lot more serious about a "hard cap"No offense but the NBA has become a bunch of pussies. Guys lost their loyalty of wanting to win for their franchise. the NBA has become AAU.
Hopefully NBA fixes this problem. Barring injuries there's really only 2-3 teams that have shot at title.
Who on that team was as good as durant in his prime? Who on that team was as good as curry?
Man if I am them I trade his ass now. Get something for him. It's going to be fun watching Westbrook turn into Rondo 2.0.
He can become the captain of the Aussie leagueSo what if no one trades for Bogut?
The team who does this will be complicit
Smart move by GS...so much for Lamarcus getting a ring in San Antonio...we need to raise the bar on defense now for sure..trying to defend Curry, Green, Thompson and Durant is just unfair....hell of a challenge going forward...just bank on our youth and future...really glad we didn't get a win now old guy on a toxic salary now...Neil is probably probably going through his list of players no one has ever heard of now...the next CJ McCollum from Europe, the D league or undrafted.
What the fuck?Dame may never win a ring based purely off of just being in the same conference as this. That sucks.

it sucks as a fan of the NBA, this is just not goodDamn, this is stunning. I thought it was near certain Durant would sign the one-and-one in Oklahoma City. More money, one more shot with his bud, Westbrook. Especially with how their team came together in the playoffs, I thought he'd want to give that one more look.
But I can see the draw to Golden State. They play a really pretty team game that has to appeal to a basketball junkie like Durant. Durant even fits in really well to their defensive scheme as, in the playoffs, he was a holy terror with his gigantic wingspan. A dialed-in Durant just enhances Golden State's switch-everything defense as he can switch 1-5 and even provide rim protection with his huge reach and leaping ability.
And, lastly, they can rest stars more. They can give Curry, Green, Thompson and Durant plenty of rest and always have 2-3 of them on the court at all times. It'll be fascinating to see their new "super death" lineup: Curry/Thompson/Iguodala/Durant/Green.
It sucks as a fan of the Trail Blazers, but it's really going to be cool as a fan of basketball.

Harkless and his D just became way more valuable to the Blazers vs the Warriors so let Crabbe walk and make sure you re-sign Hark - ASAP
It's too early to react to your snark....it was a smart move whether they took two seconds to think about it or not....glad my post has you laughing out loud though....I prefer talking with fans to talking at them....give it a try...acting isn't really a skillset I haveYou act like GS actually had to think about it.. "smart move" lol.
How exactly is this cool as a fan of basketball? It makes it even more unwatchable. I like balance.
What the fuck?

Great post...I felt this move was like the 90s Bulls as well....when Pat Riley said everyone was playing for second place until Jordan retiredThere was no balance in the 1980s, as you had superteams like the Showtime Lakers and Slowtime Celtics. Unless you mean two-team balance. As a basketball fan, it was amazing to watch those teams function like beautiful machines, though.
I felt the same way about the Bulls in the 1990s, especially the Jordan/Pippen/Rodman version (since Rodman, in addition to being a great defender and rebounder also was a really good passer).
