E Will got a lot of burn last night

Cool. How does ewill compare to oneal? Oneal was outplaying rasheed wallace in practice. Greg oden could have been traded for star players, but we didnt. For every jermaine oneal there are twenty more prospects who amount to nothing.

That makes sense. Good point

We traded Jermaine O'neal and he became an All Star.
E.Will = future All Star. :devilwink:

If you can grab a young elite player to pair with aldridge you do it. You dont get hung up on ewill leaving and say "nah, we are good. We will give you nolan and babbitt instead! Ewill is a building block!" You move his ass for rondo.

Jermaine O'neal

Was waiting for someone to post exactly this.

I'd like to know how E-Will really looks in practice. I mean, with JO, you always heard rumors how he was destroying people in practice. Literally dominate. And he showed moments are greatness on the floor. Yet, Dunleavy wouldn't play him. So it wasn't shocking to see him blow up as soon as he was dealt. At least not for me.

So I'd like to know what Williams does in practice, when guys are really going at it. Yes, I know it's practice. But Nate sometimes has these guys playing extremely hard in practice. And if E-Will is dominating, and not getting time.....

Rudy Fernandez.
Jerryd Bayless.
Armon Johnson.

The only two we should try to hold on to is LA in Nic. And if the right trades pop up, then those two are available as well. We are not in a position to rebuild on the fly. We need a full overhaul, and having guys as untouchable doesn't work.

I have a great idea, lets keep all our young playersand let the cake bake!

It's not like I'm saying we should keep the whole roster and every young guy... just LA, Batum, and Williams. 3 of 15 isnt bad! :)

I haven't heard anything spectacular (Courtside, HCP (or his wife), Quick...). But, as his first year playing, there is no way Nate will play him ahead of veteran players like Nic, Crawful, Wes. It's just the way Nate rolls. Now, if they're really high on him, they may make some room in the off season for him, but I don't expect much this season. Which, to me, is a shame as he seems legit enough to garner extra minutes and not just a victory cigar.

Well ya, but there nearly every team has multiple expiring contracts. The only thing that would set us apart is by giving up some of the youth we have.

Or future first rounders. And the earliest we can move on is 2015

Don't forget Sergio, pretty sure atlanta offered like #11 or something like that after his rookie year.

I don't think there is much time to practice when you're playing 4-5 games a week. The players are tired enough, and the level of play around the league already sucks. Plus, Williams was out all of last season. We did hear he looked good over the summer, though.
