I wasn't aiming that at the libs on the board, only noting that as a student of history the more liberal and permissive a society gets the more common this stuff is. And, the less it shocks people. I don't see what this has to do with any geographical location or political persuasion or unions. After all, it was in the conservative San Diego area that a 9 year old girl was raped in class by an 11 year old boy with the teacher present. The teacher, who was sitting at his desk reading, never looked up, thinking the girl's screams were normal student noise.

In other words, someone really sucked at doing their job. Assuming PapaG's report is correct, the teacher was suspended. So what is the point of "east bay depravity" and all the references to liberals, Clinton, etc? Are you saying in the East Bay we consider this OK? Any evidence for that? Or that consensual sex between adults in private is somehow the same thing? Who said that, aside from PapaG?

Can't someone just report a really bad thing without slander?
