Eddy Curry got into good enough shape that he played a few games in December, but since then he has racked up DNP-CD's. Curry felt he would get on the court if he was healthy, but that's not the case.
"That's what I thought," Curry told the New York Daily News. "I felt like the last thing for me was to heal up and come back ready to go. I think I accomplished that but ... you really can't prepare for the unforeseen."
"I don't know what's going on. I'll just show up, be a good citizen and do my job. Right now my job is to be ready because you never know what could happen. I'm not expecting anything to change anytime soon."
The Knicks would like to trade Curry but a deal is unlikely since he's signed through 2010-11. The Knicks may look to buyout his contract in the summer.
