Curry was traded to the Knicks from the Chicago Bulls in October, 2005 and averaged 19.5 points and seven rebounds a game for the Knicks last season.

The pro basketball team confirmed later today that Curry's family was home during the robbery and said in a statement released this afternoon: "We are very thankful that Eddy Curry and his family are safe. He told us it was a traumatic experience. At this time we are aware that the local authorities are handling the situation."</div>

Wasn't Antonie Walker tied up and robbed in his Chicago home too? What's going on

And Mo Williams was carjacked in Milwaukee, just like an hour from Chicago.

LOL! Good ole chicago. Sound like a copy cat crime tho. I doubt it was the same group of guys. but who knows maybe it was.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Curry may have been tied up during the home invasion</div> must have took a lot of rope.

He was in the suburbs too, hopefully this stops happening.

Thats very sad to hear. I hope him and his family are doing ok.

I would make a defense joke right now, but I actually like Eddy. And I wouldn't wish this on anyone. But these NBA players should start to look into better security for their homes and possessions. Isn't this the 3rd time something like this happened?
