Our govt has been in a contested divorce between Dems and Republicans since I was born....that hasn't changed and it didn't start with the Bush era either.

Then there is the fact, that our debt is so high, if Obama could find a way to confiscate the entire wealth of the top 1% that we hear about all too often, we would still have a humongous debt. Did they or did they not walk off the job when faced with not being able to fund govt? Did they or did they not go on vacation and vote themselves raises? The debt Obama inherited was necessary to prime the pump of failed auto industry, banking industry, etc....Obama didn't enter office with a surplus and everything humming along efficiently...but he did fix the problem...we have to retool our infrastructure...and we are turning the debt around right now. I think Obama has been a very good president and history will reflect that years from now...I think a the GOP has exposed itself as a dying empire....soon Rome will turn into Italy

I got my first spinning reel, a Mitchel 300 when I was about 16 years old. It was sort of a bribe to take a couple guys Steelhead fishing. Ah those were the days! But my fishing skills haven't improved since.

working with a Congress that's sole purpose was to show the Obama administration as a failure from day one isn't failed leadership....it's Congress making him the enemy...but if folks buy that then he's their scapegoat

Bill Clinton found ways to pressure and negotiate. Obama wasn't interested or doesn't know how. I think the latter. It shows in all sorts of failures, as I previously mentioned a few.

A simple search turns up hundreds of articles about how the GOP obstructed Obama's presidency every step of the way....take your pick. I fully expect the old "Obama owns the media" response though..time will show his presidency was very good considering the circumstances

I don't believe in any of that...but I am anti republican right now....anti trump...and want change. Congress pissed me off and I don't care what they call themselves....I call them lazy and dysfunctional.
