It's fine if it's their name only.
I feel like if somebody looks like Fred flintstone I should be able to joke about how they look like Fred flintstone. I suppose you think that’s racist too though right?

I haven't called anyone here racist....and no, I won't bite on that troll bait either...I learned long ago not to worry too much about what people think of me. Now you're fishing for tin cans

It’s not bait, it’s the same question applying to a white person but you won’t respond because you know your being inconsistent with your views and you wouldn’t find it racist.

I made a clear response to the OP....and no …..sorry, I won't respond whatever you define my views as....bait...absolutely bait...as in "you won't respond to me because you know you're on the wrong side of my argument".....give me a break Cippy...you're beating a dead horse now. Elizabeth Warren....OP topic....derailed!

You started to argue the race side of it with me. I brought of the flintstone example and you backed off because it has to do with a white person. So you backed off, claim I was baiting you. Into what? Answer, it’s simple. The issue is it’s easy to deconstruct the liberal progressive ideology as I just did because the views aren’t consistent across the board

Fred Flinstone isn't a person. He's a fictional character in a cartoon. :breakdance:

Cippy, your "someone who looks like Fred Flintstone" story doesn't make any sense. Trump is not saying Warren looks like Pocahontas (real or Disney).

You haven't constructed or deconstructed anything other than a strawman.

It works with anything, fictional or non fictional. Abraham Lincoln, fuck it, there ya go. It doesn’t matter. Plenty of historical or popular figures of any race to choose for examples

With river I did. I already told you about trump. It’s derogatory but not racist. But the same people will take this and say “oh my god you must be on the right you trump supporter”. No. I don’t hate trump but I also don’t like him. For me this is about political correctness and freedom of speech. Not political sides. It’s fucking ridiculous how many people throw the word racist out there

Elizabeth warren doesn’t even look native also so I find it funny the progressives come out and say it’s so terrible and racist. Give me a break

I notice that you ignored my point - that looks isn't the issue.

Here's a question for you: what is it that makes Trump calling her Pocahontas derogatory?

And: Do you think racism exists? Because whenever anything is pointed out as racist, you are johnny-on-th-spot to say it isn't. Can you give three examples of things in today's world you think ARE racist?

Why is it that calling things racist offends you? How is it a freedom of speech issue?

My suggestion is to get a sense of humor as you appear to be wound very tight and always argumentative. :biglaugh::biglaugh:

Right because you would know about a sense of humor judging by your amazing trump post the other day.

...getting harder and harder to wade and sift through the bravado and find something worth responding to in the OT section.

...really annoying.

It’s derogatory because it’s not meant in a nice way obviously. I can’t call it racist because Elizabeth warren herself doesn’t even look native. Looks like a white lady. Trump is a smart ass, trump hurls insults at those he doesn’t like. I have a difficult time believing it has to do with race and more so has to do with his way of insulting.

Yes racism exists. Three examples. Okay here let’s have you off all people judge if I even believe in racism. Charlottesville. Those dudes are racist. Racial profiling is a thing. Honestly can’t name a third right now. Racism exists completely among all races but I think a lot of people tend to make things a race issue that actually isn’t. I also think people call others racists too casually. That’s the speech issue. You can’t make simple jokes these days or whatever it is without the outrage crowd jumping in claiming things you are a racist or homophobic, whatever it might be. Progressives try to control speech and what you can and can’t say. I’m not offended by it, I’m just stating my opinion and replying to those who reply to me.

Okay so for example if there is any woman of a darker color and hair whether it be a more tanned white woman or Mexican, Asian, Native American and somebody makes a comment to that woman saying she looks like Pocahontas, is that racist? Meaning that woman is beautiful. What if I’m comparing an mma fighter and his style or speed to Bruce lee whether he’s black, asian, or white? I guess that’s all racist too? I mean come on
You're quibbling.
I know racism when I see it and so do most other Americans.

I’m speaking in general, yes the majority of people know Pocahontas as a Disney character. That’s what I’m talking about. Not the real pocohontas considering we don’t actually know what she looked like. I was just saying as an example, as the pocohontas a majority of America knows. What’s the difference? You’re still comparing somebody to something. Yes trump used this in a derogatory term but to say it’s racist is just ridiculous. You’re basically saying if you take any historical or popular figure in society and compare them to anybody it’s just racist to that whole race. There is no logic there.

I never said hey go up to a native and call him a redskin. I’m saying people aren’t as offended as you say. You’re speaking for a whole race when the number says it. 9 out of 10. Like damn maybe if we stopped the victimization in this country and treated each other equally then we could get somewhere but we still have people like you speaking for races and other people. How ironic
Easy for a white man to say.

Easy for a white man to say.
What is this stupid “white privilege” myth you progressives throw around too? Jesus Christ it’s cringeworthy. Get over yourselves

What's that got to do with the topic?

Let's get back to Senator Warren and the attempt at demeaning her by using the term Pocahontas in a racially charged context.
I was replying to an outraged progressive so that was one of my points. I didn’t go off topic, I responded to somebody who did. Elizabeth warren looks white as fuck to me. Was not racially charged but sure let’s go with it. What else can we make come true in your progressive fantasy world that isn’t based on logic?
