Great. I hope Amare doesn't give Lamarcus nightmares again.

We are gonna kill em at MSG!

Rudy will be waiting for us.

We'll win, but Rudy will light us up for 50!

That's the first time in a long time that I can remember where we started the season on East coast. Interesting.

I can't remember us EVER starting on an east coast trip!

Well we don't have to worry about getting used to the time change. They can go a few days early.

What are you guys talking about?

I wonder if it's the Blazers' opener?

Go Blazers

We have started on the 27th in the past, but who knows.

In my 20 years of watching the NBA, I don't remember it ever happening. Maybe once against the Bulls or Pistons?

the 30th will be the 4th day of the season. If this is true then I imagine Portland's home opener is either on opening night or the following night, either the 26th or 27th.

Their first game was the 27th last year, and the 28th the year before, so who knows?

Go Blazers

Point well taken. I was thinking they hadn't started before the 29th.

Thanks.

Well now that you mention it, October 30th is a Saturday. Hasn't the season been starting lately mid-week? The bastards probably have us opening at home for one game on Thursday and flying across the country to play in NY on Saturday.

The nba season starts the last Tuesday of every October with two games on tnt and usually one non-tnt game, although last year there were two.

My guess is that we open at home against a team, say like the Jazz or OKC or PHX, prolly night 2 of the nba season, then hop on a plane for a 4 game east coast road trip starting with the Knicks. Then the rest is unpredictable.

Blazers are playing the Knicks at MSG on Oct 30th.
Thanks. I'm allergic to clicking on Twit Quick links.

It's always nice to open the season with a win. :) But I prefer home openers.

Go Blazers!

First time I ever heard the Oregon coast referred to as "Welsh". ;)
