Pretty much about Tiago called out a screen play for Wemby before the Spurs got into action and Sharpe still didn't rotate over after the screen and Wemby got a clean dunk.

Sharpe stayed at the corner with his man and didn't rotate over. Seems like he also acknowledged he messed up to Tiago immidiately after the play.

Has most upside on team. I keep trying to convince myself he will one day flip a switch. For that reason I still don’t want to trade him. Problem when I list pros and cons above I’m starting to realize good possibility it may not happen and his value will likely drop drastically. Good part is we signed him to a fair contract.

I am very open to Sharpe being a traded but going to play devil's advocate on him for a minute ....

I think his whole basketball life he has been told he is this great star player etc etc and for the most part pampered and lifted up that it got to his head. However maybe Billups did it a little trying to bring him down but I have a feeling Tiago took it farther and maybe this was tough love from Tiago and company. My only issue IF this is true and this is all what if etc but even if true I am not sold. I do not think Sharpe has it in him to change cause I am not sure he has that "dog" in him like a Dame , Scoot has it a little even Deni but I do not see that at all in Sharpe.

the blazers need to decide what the opportunity cost for their starting shooting guard position/that shaedon salary slot is.

oddly enough, shaedon is in a very similar position to deni avdija when he was traded from washington. in other words, the types of guys the blazers should be targeting (young players with unrealized upside on other teams) happen to precisely play for their own team (scoot/shaedon).

I think Tom and the GM (whomever that is) will hire a coach they believe can get us past the hump and be a championship contending team. Tom is very competitive, he wants to win. He demands it. He'll pay for what helps the team win. Coaches and players get wins.

how do you know any of this?

I know that's his rep from the NHL team. But it's possible he bought the Blazers because of the rapid appreciation in value NBA teams have experienced lately. Maybe he's a basketball fan and wants to do everything you imagine he does. Or maybe, just maybe, after making his fortune in predatory sub-prime auto loans and then bailing on the company, he saw a big opportunity for rapid ROI on an NBA team and that's what he's working on while pinching every penny in sight
