Enes Kanter's game is garbage

If you're going to call posters, call them out by name.
I called players. In particular Blazer players that have threads about them that are negative. I also added a coach and a GM for good measure because there are many. The point remains the same. You do not have to go to another Team's forum to find this. Though all of them have the very same type of threads and comments.

If you were in the NBA, wouldn’t you be curious about what the official Blazers board was saying about you? And if one of the threads on the front page said you were garbage, wouldn’t you be hurt? These are people guys! And checking out a forum on your phone doesn’t take much time or effort. Tell me you wouldn’t be curious.

I had a Farrah Fawcett poster, a Loni Anderson poster and a Patti McGuire Centerfold poster. There I called them out by name. I feel better now

those are good posters. But for this forum, this poster seems more on point:

I dunno, I think some guys dont care, some guys read all the twitter and social media stuff, talk a big game how they dont care and then care a lot, I give you Kevin Durant...

1.) You think he knows what the "official forum" is?
2.) Why does the opinions of the "official forum" matter more than any other Blazers forum?
3.) They can find thousands of Tweets about them on Twitter, a platform they actually use.
4.) They aren't going to make a career and life move because of a mixed bag of opinions.
5.) They're also not going to care about a guy that's not even on this continent who doesn't like him and wants Greg Oden back.
6.) You've told me before that if you care about the bad things someone says about you, then that means you're worried they might be true. By that logic, if Kanter is confident in his basketball ability, he wouldn't care about the bad things fans have to say about him. I think Kanter's a pretty confident individual, considering how he's become an activist against his home country's regime.

Maybe he's not used to the harsh realities of hardcore blazer maniacs. He's probably grown soft, being more used to the kinder, gentler, NY media and fans.

KD is a Mental Midget, how insecure do you have to be to be a Top 5 player in the NBA yet still argue with fans that talk shit on Twitter? I’m actually starting to be ok with picking Oden over him. At least it saved me years of defending what a douche bag he is to my friends that would have been rubbing that in my face.

Of course some players do, but not the majority. I've tried showing players this forum. I've let them read game threads in the past. They got through about 20 posts, laughed and handed me back the laptop. They could give a shit about what any of of the 4 guys who LIKED your post have to say about them as players. I think it hurts fans feelings, but they just don't.
Wheels is on here...... I introduced this forum to Kevin Pritchard and Tom Penn. They both used to get a kick out of what people would post. But that's about it. Said if they ever needed a laugh they'd go read a game thread, or draft thread.
They would say they couldn't believe there were so many "Basketball Experts" on here.

If I were a multi-millionaire celebrity basketball player, who worked his entire life to get to such a position, then I would absolutely laugh my ass off and ignore everything people said about me online. Otherwise, I'd go mad.

If you get to Dame's level, LeBron's level, KD's level, Curry's level, etc etc......you don't have to justify anything with anyone. Period.

If I was a basketball manager and mentoring up rookies who were just drafted to my team, I would express to them the seriousness of staying off of social media except for very specific interpersonal relationships such as email and private "must have" accounts.

Twitter and facebook does not qualify there.

Oh, I definitely get that many don't care. To be completely honest I don't really care what most of them think either. Most of them prove they aren't that more of an "Expert" than us normal people. I think it's ego more than anything, for both fan and Player / GM / Coach. We all think we know much more than we do and so we dismiss people pretty quickly because of that.

O

The guy who drafted Nolan Smith is laughing at US?

This is reality! The real players, Coaches and GM's know that what gets said on here or forums like this is complete fantasyland crap most of the time. Seriously. People on this forum actually think they could coach or run a team better without even the slightest bit of knowledge on what it actually takes or what is really happening. It's comical most of the time.
