Enough with the Spurs !! Memphis next

We are 26-34 , we have 20 games left, and even if we do reach the playoffs im sure we wont make it pass the 1st round, maybe even get swept "/. Shouldnt we be looking at the future? I mean id rather build for the future than have my hopes up and loose in the first round, or second for that matter. Maybe we should let all of our youngster play more and rest the vets, and hopefully we can get a decent pick for next years draft.. maybe an OJ MAYO? who knows.. I just think that its kinda unrealistic to expect this net team to do anything this year, im absolutely sure that we will be an eastern conference powerhouse once again next year if we play our cards right... develop harris, both williams diop, let krstic get his groove back on, rest vc let him do his thing, trade the reject (Rj) lol and maybe get a pure shooter in the offseason and make some significant trades... (Maybe Artest, Brand, Miller, JO) And have a good Draft.. We are already young now, now we need to build chemestry and gain experience and we are set for a long long time..

Thoughts.? Correct me if im wrong, thats just my opinion and i welcome any other thoughts

really great post there. just suspicous about VC in a few years. he wont do the things he couldve done and hes getting older. maybe when its brooklyn time theyll have to trade him. i heard lbj will be coming

my question to u guys is... do u wanna tank the season? for the lottery? or make a run and get into the playoffs? im just hoping we have the cap room flexibility to make a run at a star... (eg: brand or arenas) i know we have a point but imagine having:
harris
arenas
carter
boone
swat

OR

harris
carter
draft pick
brand
swat

i mean this means we trade RJ! heheh

Idk what they are talking about, but yeah we should tank the season to get the best pick possible

And angelo u said tht vc might be getting old in 2010, hell be 34 so yeah i agree with that. Maybe we should trade both Vc and Rj.. and it will benefit us in the future.

There's really no point about debating tanking a season. The current make up of this team wouldn't sink that low, the coaching staff wouldn't do it, and the fan base surely wouldn't support it (angry Jersey-ans? yikes).

Hoping that a team doesn't make the playoffs is one thing, and a position I was for last season with about 20 games left. But you've got see that 'tanking' is just not happening.
