Bad trade.Why would u take shane battier when you already have rj on ur team? Francis?
</div>
1) We get rid of Carter's contract.
2) Chuck Hayes, Shane Battier are cheap building blocks that will positively contribute while the Nets rebuild.
3) Steve Francis will but cut ASAP to do what he wants, Cleveland, Clippers, back to Houston w/e.
4) With Battier this gives the Nets more flexibility to trade RJ, Battier is not as good as Jefferson but he is a lot cheaper and a good role player.
5) This will push JKidd out the door faster.
</div>
Gotcha now.You wanna rebuild,huh?

I'm done with these "players", there are only 3 or 4 guys on our entire roster that I want to keep and only Sean is close to untouchable IMO.
