Because it didn't agree with you and the other fanboys?
No, because it was wrong. I explained why, but you didn't want to put on your reading glasses or something... Or it took too much focus to read a full 4 bullet-point post... I don't really know.

I brought up 4 very logical points as to why you are wrong, but apparently you didn't read it because it was a "book". It's not about being a "homer" or not. It's about having logical opinions... which you struggle with.
Logical opinion is around 45 wins. Your logical opinion is higher.

I brought up 4 points of disagreement hoping you'd have a logical, rational CONVERSATION about them, but you were too lazy to even read and just complained about it "being a book". And now you want to complain about others not being interested in conversation? Oh the hypocrisy...
Some people are just a bore

Like you really don't even focus on basketball. Apparently to you there's a god damn line between "rational people" and "homers". If someone predicts a better season, then they're an irrational homer, no matter the logic and basketball knowledge they bring to the table.

So whoever doesn't fall in line with you is irrational fuck (which you've called me before) and a homer. But then whenever someone logically disagrees with you, you complain about being "beaten down by the masses" and you post gems like this one: Sarcastically apologizing for not "FALLING IN LINE" ! Lmao.
That would be a personal attack. Maybe your post was irrational as fuck. That would make sense

It's the focus part. Have to keep it interesting for me to focus on it.

I miss Homer and jlprk keeping things in perspective around here....grow a sense of humor folks! I'm predicting 54 wins because I was born in 54...now everybody has their own lucky number so who cares why we pick a card...not one game has even been played . HCP brought it with the 23 repeat!

Eek, mine is 11. I was born in 65 though. Splitting the difference gives us 38 wins

46 wins ain't gonna get you the 4th seed, ESPN.

Did you read the article? In that set of projections, it does.

ESPN has teams with 46, 45, 44, 43, and 41 wins in the West playoffs, along with four teams between 34 and 40 wins missing it.

If wins are evenly distributed like that, 46 wins could very well get the fourth seed.

Pretty sure he's referring to the fact that a fourth seed in the West hasn't been below 50 wins (except for the lockout year obviously) in a decade.

I predict the 2016/17 NBA Champions will be the Portland Trailblazers!

We will be 30-11 at the break and will finish 2nd in the West with a 58-24 record. We will beat down GS in the WCFinals and go on to beat Indiana in the Finals in 7 games.
Indiana? Lulwut?

After acquiring Jeff Teague and Thad Young, and with the expected improvement of Myles Turner, some analysts consider Indiana to be the 2nd favorite in the East behind Cleveland.
They also added Al Jefferson. Their team is built well, their main problem is Nate McMillan being their coach... WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU NOT RE-SIGN VOGEL??

So are analysts to be believed or not? Last year they knew nothing because they picked Portland to win 25ish games. Did they learn more this year?

I've made no claims one way or the other. However, if someone predicted the Blazers to finish 12th in the west last off-season, in concert with the general outlook of the analysts, it would have been understandable. I predicted 36 myself, and was still way off. Doesn't mean that I or the analysts "knew nothing"; simply means I underestimated the team's cohesion and chemistry.

I'll admit, I haven't paid a ton of attention to the East. Prior to reading your post, I had no clue where Jefferson went.

Portland finishes 3rd in the West. A head of the Clips and working SA for 2nd.

Analysts exist to be mocked when wrong and quoted for truth when they say something good about a fan's team. The serve no other useful purpose.

Agree with ESPNs logic. West will be very tough this year. Then again I say that every year.

I think it depends more on the East. IF the East can win some games against the west. 45 wins might get 4th seed, but if the West owns the East again, like the year before? 50 wins will MIGHT get you in the bottom fourth

44 wins....... 5th seed.

Really needed to get a scoring threat down low to help out our backcourt. I think our additions will help on the defensive end for sure though.

Wait, I should have saved that last post for my "OFFICIAL" win total thread I'll drop in 75 days

Ill wait for Bones and the others to criticize this one, since it said virtually the same as mine did. With the same win totals. Breath held
