Well, I wasn't watching the baseball game, because I wasn't looking to fall asleep, but I did watch the ND goal line stand, and they definitely kept the back out of the end zone... twice.
If there's any controversy about that, I'm calling BS.
You know the times in football where technicalities overrule what should have actually happened on the field? The player makes an amazing play, and the refs find some bullshit way to bring it back... I was worried that was going to happen in the ND/Stanford game, but the refs actually got it right for once.
A goal line stop is an extremely hard play to execute, and ND did it TWICE. They were rewarded, rightfully so, with a win.
Not to mention, if they had just played Rees the entire game, it wouldn't have even been close. I don't know how long Kelly is going to keep up this Golson experiment, but if they want to contend for a BCS title, they need to start Tommy Rees, as big of a douche as he may be.
