ESPN's Ted Miller's... Bennett vs Mariota

Both are great talents but one thing I noticed and many did as well was how CALM Mariota seemed out there. Unflappable no pun intended....

Mariota looked amazing dont get me wrong. But I wonder how good he would have looked with the O-Line Bennett had.

in the Spring game Mariota looked like the same calm/cool, athletic surgeon on the field as he appeared to be in his amazing HS Sr highlight tape... it seems there is little he can't do. Bennett struggled early but still produced. The thing that really raised red flags for me was that he became upset/flustered as his squad got down. Being a great QB means leading not pointing fingers... it starts between the ears. BB clearly has outstanding physical tools, but from interviews to live snaps I've been concerned about his demeanor all along.

they try to break the team up for the Spring game pretty evenly, letting the two coaches to alternate picks. Please expand on why you think MM's squad had the better line talent

I dont have the Spring Game rosters handy, but for some reason I seem to remember noticing that Bennet had less of a line during the game, which would somewhat have explained the constant pressure he was under. I think there were a few writers he touched on it as well with the differences in the lines each QB had. Could be me going crazy though :)

It was said during the spring game by one of the announcers that Mariota had a better more experienced O line working for him than did BB.
