It is ridiculous that you have to pay THAT much for just a muffin, egg and cheese. $3.50 should be the price when you want sausage, bacon, or ham on it.(I don't eat pork by the way)

It's pretty easy for the youth of today to make their own with a breakfast sandwich maker for only $24.99.

24.99 is a lot for a single parent of one.
But it's not about only the cost, it's also about the preparation.

That's exactly how I took it, too. It was a creative way to talk about the cost/wage discrepancy... and it came from a multi millionaire, so it does hold a bit of weight.

The difference being that his "anger" is addressed at McDonalds, which sets the price of the Egg McMuffin. The frustration in this thread seems to be addressed at Turner, when it's the Blazers that gave him the massive contract. That's like being pissed at the Egg McMuffin.

Depending on McD's for any kind of food on regular basis is just asking for a lifetime of health problems. It's cheaper and better to buy the stuff yourself and make your own with healthier choices.

No one will disagree with you.
But you must take into account the parents of these children ET is talking about.
A parent working two jobs doesn't typically have time to cook for their kids on a consistent biases.
Mcdonalds is easier for those parents.

I don't know about you, but I was not allowed to cook with oil until I was 8 years old, and even then I had to ask to do so. Then say when I was finished.
