That's a terrible story, but I'm afraid you missed part of my point. (or I posted the wrong link)

Nobody is denying that the scumbags who killed that little girl are gangbangers, or that that played a role in the shooting. In the case I posted, the authorities are trying to deny the connection between his religious/political beliefs and the fact he targeted a *catholic* religious supply shop. Why?

I'm a bit testy on the subject right now because of a recent incident here in Salem. 2 buildings were tagged with neo-nazi graffiti - the cops immediately proclaimed it had nothing to do with race/religion/politics. Then someone tagged a church (evangelical) with "666" and the cops instantly called it a religious hate crime. WTF? Favoritism much?

I don't know anything about why guy went nuts ...he should have killed himself. The link you posted seem pretty cut and dry with no opinions...maybe I missed it.

What I want to know is why the media is pushing this type of thing and doesn't mention jack about the poor girl in Vegas. There have been multiple children killed in North Las Vegas in just a few weeks by gangs. Not a word about that but I'll see every white guy doing something crazy in this country on a day by day basis.

I will say if it were white kids that shot up a house and killed a black girl it would be all over the news.

I don't read USA today but I googled it and nothing came up except the October 1 massacre.

That means that the fact that he loved guns had nothing to do with his shooting or the fact that he liked sexual perversion had nothing to do with his desire to rape and sodomize. I'd say that type of thinking was more than a little off course.
