Even 50% of Republicans Blame Bush for the Economy

Well, Bush set the table, to be sure. So he appropriately deserves blame. Obama served the multi billion dollar deficit meal. They both share the blame. The difference is that Obama had the opportunity to do something about it- and he just made it substantially worse.

keeping with your anaolgy, Bush also mixed the ingredients, put them in the oven and served the appetizer.

Yeah, Bush served up the appetizer, Obama the main entrée and the next President the desert. THEN the bill comes.

I don't think running against Bush is going to work this time around.

Maybe not but running against Romney should be a slam dunk.

This election is Bush vs Kerry 2.0 (in reverse) Most people may not like Obama but the alternative is even more unappealing.

I tend to agree. Obama may unarguably be the most divisive and ineffective President of all time, but I don't see much of anything Romney offers as an improvement, policy wise.

Well, for one, he has promised to veto ObamaCare if presented with such a bill.

He has also promised to actually pass a budget, something Obama has yet to do in his own presidency.

So, other than those two things, you have a point, I guess.

Obama made a speech yesterday that bored everyone to tears (lots of tweets by reporters covering it said just that).

Anyhow, he used a steak dinner analogy, basically saying Bush invited him to a steak dinner then left without paying for it.

Well Mr. President, who made you go out for the steak dinner the next 3 years?

Bush took him to Outback, and Obama thought he was at El Gaucho for the next three years.

He's going to veto ObamaCare? That bill already is law, how is he going to veto it?

Since when do presidents pass budgets? Isn't that the job of congress?

So, other than those two things, you have a point, I guess.

It's encouraging to see not all reps are big fat idiots.

C'mon, give Mutt a break. It's not like he knows anything about how to run a country.
