My daughter was a pole vaulter at Western Ore and traveled all over. She was ranked nationally her senior year. That was many years back, she's now 43.

I have never understood the bravery it takes to do that shit. I'm get anxious every time I see someone running with that long ass pole.

Yeah, she was persistent in wanting to do it and was one of the first women vaulters at Western. My other nuggets couldnt believe she wanted do it either.

You know how this season could be worse?

We could have Ben Simmons.

Yes, it was satirical. Nobody was really throwing the kitchen sink for him, but some people were borderline claiming that he was an answer for this franchise, and @Rastapopoulos might as well have been the Braveheart of that movement.

I’m going to spend the next 12+ months just feeling glad we didn’t trade ANYTHING for Ben Simmons.

Ben Simmons has somehow skated his way through the league on expectations he will never meet.

It’s wild because I’d take Kostas today over Ben Simmons any day. Dudes been an integral part of Olypmiacos in the 8 years since he left the NBA.

Ben Simmons couldn’t even start for the 36’ers, because he’s always injured.
