David Beckam signed a 5 years 250 million Deal! Damn!

I couldn't even dream of making a million per week :no1:

That is some money right there...wow.EDIT: He signed witht the Los Angeles Galaxy. 🪨

I knew he was going to sign with the MLS. I told you so Mixx, wherever you are.

Hey, maybe people in America will actually care about soccer now.

Holy sh*t!I don't watch soccer, but that is a huge ass deal. His wife is hot too.

Does a MLS team even generate that much revenue in a season? This is desperation. Bringing a washed-up European has-been soccer player to America to try and generate professional soccer popularity for 50 mil a year is bizarre. Soccer will never be popular here. It will never even be more popular than Nascar or Tennis.

50 mil a year for any sport is insane! and mls?? how did they come out with so much money?? have they been saving it over the years?

The MLS is a pretty poor league but I think it's getting better, as is US soccer. 50 years down the line we'll see a decent amount of US soccer fans. :happy0144:

David Beckham signed a contract for the LA Galaxy for like ?490,000 a week, its near double that in dollars, so hes almost making like $1,000,000 now that is when sport players are getting paid too much...And people ask me why I hate soccer. :thumbdn1: What you all think of this ?

At least the team he signed with was the Galaxy. Hopefully the team will be able to get over the hump and win a title again.

I already made this topic. Look at 'Even though I hate Soccer...'

I just read this quote from a very big soccer board I just joined..."Earlier today, a separate report from ESPN Radio said that Ronaldo will be unveiled next week with the New York Red Bulls as MLS's second major signing, although that report hasn't been echoed anywhere else as yet."Wow, I heard with the Beckham signing the Galaxy have already sold 2,500 additional season tickets and now Ronaldo may be going to New York. God, I hate these big cities going after all these big names. LA and New York always have to get some attention.
