I've heard from many people that it's been scientifically proven that everybody knows everybody through 5 people. What do you guys think? Is this B.S. or is this real?I think it's true: I know a top 50 NBA player of all time throught one of my classmates, who in turn knows lots of NBA players and office people, I know Tony Dungy through my friend's father, which in turn knows lots of NFL players, I know lots of people in other places through other people, etc. I think it may be possible

I'm not sure about EVERYBODY but this could well apply for a lot of people. I'm not sure about how easy it is to cross boarders with this though.

We should try this see if we can connect people at BBW, whos up for this?

Mutual friends on facebook FTW!!!!EDIT: that wouldn't help would it?

The problem with it was everybody has Tom and a few bands as a friend so it doesn't work

the 6 degrees of separation*I believe it

well since my dad, cousin, and two friends have all met Bill Clinton, and Bill Clinton has met pretty much everybody on the planet then it would probably hold true for me.And I thought it was 6 degrees, not 5.
