He has Finals experience and he can run an offense at the point very effectively if needed. And he can hit the outside shot better than 40% of the time. And he can hit big shots under pressure. Plus, getting Turkoglu and his versatility would've given us flexibility to trade players like Blake and Outlaw for an upgrade at other positions.

Any time you see a major player on a contending team leave right after their first run to the finals, you know he is just looking for money gravy and doesn't really give a shit about winning. Any competitive player worth their salt would have stayed on board and given that team another couple of shots at winning it all, especially later in his career.

I view them as very different players. Chuck Hayes is the immovable object. Milsap has a lot more going on offensive side of the ball.

I will also say I believe no matter who we signed, we had a sign and trade deal with Philly lined up for Dre, probably for Blake & Outlaw. So, when I look at the impact these players would have had for us, I still think of Miller as being on our team.

Very true, but Milsap plays much taller than he is and is a quick jumper on the boards.

In retrospect, perhaps saying he could have been our Carl Landry would have been more accurate.
