Bryce McGowens started and went for 23, 7 and 5 last night, but it was against the Lakers, so it's not that impressive.

Utah has been getting Good Nurk (just as the Lakers have been getting Good Ayton). I'm going to see how long each lasts.Nurk in 19 min was 14-6-9 and a block
The Boston Celtics have been expected to trade Anfernee Simons since acquiring him in the deal that sent Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers. The talented guard is in the final year of his $100 million contract and will become an unrestricted free agent in the summer.
According to an NBA executive who spoke with Sean Deveney of Heavy on Sports under the condition of anonymity, the Celtics are struggling to find a willing trade partner for Simons. His $27.6 million salary for this season appears to be a stumbling block in negotiations.
“They’ve been trying to find a market for (Simons) for a few months now, and it is not there,” the executive told Deveney. “They’re still trying….“I think a lot of teams would like to sign him. But they do not want him at that price and they can just wait it out. The Celtics are trying but the market is not there.”
Man. If we can get him back as a spark off the bench, the time to consolidate and bring another star is now.Just listened to a CJ interview and he's definitely made Oregon his permanent home. He said he's here every summer and still investing in his biz and farm. Has a lot of roots here. He would love to come back and retire a Blazer. Showed a lot of love to Oregon and the Blazers organization.

I didn't get the impression it was going to be this season or anytime soon. CJ for the right price is a good bench piece and mentor for Scoot and Sharpe..he's had his last big payday. He's still buying land in Oregon...said he has properties with Pat Connaughton and investments with Ed Davis as well. He's already looking past his playing days and said Oregon is where he'll be when all is said and done. Wants his kids to grow up here. The interview is on Jeff Teague's podcast. We already have Dame back. No desire to have Dame and CJ back together. Cost us years of mediocrity and I don't see either as a take us over the top player but Dame is closer than CJ.
I'd take CJ over any of our other current PG options but that isn't really saying much of anything.
Guys gonna be 35 soon. It wouldn't be the same as it was 5 years ago. If he signed with us for a deal on an exception, pretty sure he would be open to being a sparkplug off the bench. We also have Jrue now who covers Lillard and CJs defensive deficiencies by allowing them to guard the weaker guard on an opposing team.We already have Dame back.
