Nurk may well triple double again tonight. At the end of 3 he is 11-7-11

Just listened to a CJ interview and he's definitely made Oregon his permanent home. He said he's here every summer and still investing in his biz and farm. Has a lot of roots here. He would love to come back and retire a Blazer. Showed a lot of love to Oregon and the Blazers organization.
Funny we actually could have used him a lot the last few months. But with Jrue back, Scoot getting close, Dame next season I don't see a role. Would be fun to have him on the roster whenever he is ready for a 3rd string role.

I can't get over how much we fumbled the 2024 second round. We started the day #34 and #40 and on the day briefly had three players that are now solid rotation players for their teams - Kolek, Ighodaro and Post. But we COULD have had Ajay Mitchell/Jaylen Wells and Cam Spencer or Jamal Shead. That's a solid backcourt. The 2024 second round is probably better than most of the first round and we just traded out of it.

Would any of those guys even have played for us?

Love and Sidy have been solid for the scrub positions - I just don't see those guys making a difference.

Didn’t have the best game tonight but the Hawks have done well since trading Young and getting CJ. You can’t sleep on him. I fully believe that CJ could do some wild stuff for the Hawks. He could absolutely be that guy in the playoffs. His basketball IQ is actually off the charts. Dude knows the game and knows how to make a read on the right play like a quarterback. Crazy how he bounced around to the teams he played on after Portland. Just really not much hope in NO and definitely not in D.C. I count that as a win trade for the Hawks. I think today CJ is a better player than Trae Young. Like actually a steal for the Hawks.
