Exactly what bad has happened?

:dunno: Perhaps. A year ago, nobody thought Hedo was a special player - and a year from now they will be wondering what all the excitment was about. In the meantime, if people want to swallow the hype, that is up to them.
last year hedo was considerably better than he was this year so you're wrong in that regard. if you go a couple of years back, then yes hedo wasn't regarded as a special player and rightfully so. up until last year he'd merely been a role player.

He had a very average PER the past two years, and his overall value went down last year compared to the year before.

Without Dwight Howard, Hedo is a MLE player, at best.

I, personally, will be shocked if they even make the playoffs next year. This team has suffered one offseason loss after another. Has any team ever been dismantled as quickly as these Blazers? Maybe the Jordan/Pippen Bulls in 1998...maybe.

Why?

Oden will be much better.

Bayless should be much better.

LA continues to improve.

Webster will be back.

Batum is improving.

There's 5 upgrades right there.

Oh. Good points. Now I don't know what to think.

But we lost FRYE!! And KP hasn't traded for LBJ or Wade or Bosh! Enjoy the lottery!

But we lost FRYE!!

And Sergio. And quite possibly, Michael Ruffin and Shavlik Randolph.

That's 27% of the team right there, and none of them have been replaced.

Truly, this is an offseason of horrors.

Damn, what was I thinking?

So that's one-third of the team that we've lost! This team is going down the tubes "at the speed of gravity". It's "in free fall".

OK, I want this officially noted: I have been accused of being a terrible pessimist...but even my view of the team has never been bleak enough to consider Webster an "upgrade"!!! :evilfire:
