hmmm, his "willingness" to bang? All I saw was him getting constantly banged on and pushed easily out of position all the time.
Like I said, he wasn't good at it, but he wasn't shying away from it either. Once he builds up some lower body and core strength, learns some inkling of footwork, leverage, and technique I think he'll be able to hold his position pretty well.

Better position at 10 than 12 duh

significant jump as possible

will be very aggressive

paul said to neil promise me we will be more competetive next year in getting players

Nolan needs a new environment, great kid, will be in the NBA,

Luke not closing door, LA, Joel and Victor all ahead of him. will see what roster looks like on July 1

Elliott has talent, no idea what they have in him. If oportunity to bring him back they will look at it

Will see just how vulnerable teams are with luxury cap.

First true cycle of reality of progressive luxury tax

beat writers get salary cap 101 next LOL

Thanks MM - wasn't able to follow along myself, appreciate the summary!

Thinks they were close this year, but need to be aggressive in buiilding roster

Toughest to find is PG which we found

need center

then depth 6-10
IMO, there are more good point guards in this league than good centers. No debate though: we need a center, and that's not a given.

Loved Dame's answer, "I'll be here. I'm not gonna pay for a house and not be in it." LOL

Casey Holdahl ‏@CHold 5s
Jared Jeffries has been waived, as per @TrailBlazersPR

I would have kept him around for a while. His contract was a get out of jail free card for any team that wanted to trade for him (and then cut him - owing nothing) at the draft.

Edit: Nevermind. I guess the deadline to decide on him was moved up so wise decision to cut him.

Watching LA's interview, and then Dame's, its not hard to see whose team this is. The kid is just so motivated to improve. Love all of his answers.

Had to be waived within 5 days of season ending or contract was guaranteed for two years

The body language of a leader vs. a daydreamer who plays only for the money.

Ya Olshey reality about the roster as is is pretty refreshing.
