Henderson also said he would love to get back to starting in the NBA. It isn't as important to him as it was 3 or 4 years ago but he feels like he can still start in this league.

Henderson's veteran leadership was quiet but I always felt he was the one guy who never got rattled. He was usually able to come in and get a shot to calm everyone down when we went through scoring droughts. I would love for him to stay but I agree with him... he is still capable of starting and he's earned a nice fat contract but, unfortunately, it's not going to be here.

I missed the Meyers' interview so listening to it now.

Says he will be out the sling in 1-2 weeks. Shoulder seems to be progressing fine. Still a very long process though (not close to guaranteed to be ready by the end of training camp).

Meyer's focus will be leg strength this summer (probably about all he can due but still smart once again).

Crabbe kept saying he "doesn't mind" coming back.

I really interpret that as - "I'm gonna go out and get my check, If you want me back you better match."

Meyers said he is going to be around for much of the summer. He says he has a list of places on the coast that he wants to visit. Lol

Other then that not much on Meyer's. He has no idea on how he is approaching RFA. He says that is up to his agent to figure out.

Doesn't sound the most committed. Good thing Crabbe is an RFA, because he's probably pretty confident (and for good reason) that he could start somewhere else!

Could be just his personality. He seems kind of quiet and guarded to me. Anyone know who his best friends on the Blazers are? Who he hangs out with? Seems like I remember him being close to Barton. I wonder if he has any close friends on the team now?

I don't think it's just the coast, he has a huge list of places all over Oregon to visit. He was asking people for suggestions on Twitter a couple weeks ago.

Luckily he is the very last guy we have to match on. His cap hold is tiny so we just need to spend our money first before we match on him.

Eh, that's assuming we can get someone to commit immediately. I think it's that low cap hold that's going to get a team going after him right away. Other teams will know that we're relying on that low cap hold, so they'll try to give him a big offer quickly to get him to accept.

Oh we can easily get a guy to commit within 3 days. It just might not be the guy you are hoping for.

And truly it is 8 days we will have to talk a guy into it. There is 5 days that teams talk but can't sign anyone. Then we have 3 days after that to match on Crabbe.

Agreed - from what everyone has posted Crabbe and Henderson sound like the guys who are least interested in being here. And I bet their reason is the same: CJ.

Once he signs an offer sheet, the first year of that offer becomes his cap hold. If he makes a decision during the moratorium, his cap hold will be much bigger after 7/6.

There is also the option of just telling the other team that we'll match, and Crabbe never signs the offer sheet. That is what happened with Roy Hibbert IIRC.

Hopefully Olshey has a good discussion with the Agents of our 3 FA and makes it very clear that we will take core of them, but asks them to give the Blazers a few days to lock up a FA. Luckily I doubt any of the 3 are going to be MOSS (Midnight Offer Sheet Signers)

With CJ running the point, and the propensity of small ball, one of those guys could still get big minutes. I think having them both splitting that time doesn't make that much sense. I really have liked Hendo, but I would let him walk and resign Crabbe. His skill set fits in better with this team and he still has room to improve.

One of them can catch and hit a three. The other has to take a dribble in, and usually so he can take a turn-around jumper under pressure.

I'll take the first guy.
