Went to the eye doctor last weekend, and he said my left eye has some damage at the back of the eye. Likely from uv rays. It's a mild consistent irritation. He said it's likely nothing, but wants me to come back to get pictures as a baseline.

Told me I'd have to wear sunglasses whenever outside with the sun up now. Lame, I hate sunglasses.

Anyone dealt with eye problems before?

Computers have ruined my perfect vision. :sigh:

I have better than perfect vision, but I have a couple beige "spots" that I see, specifically when I look at white screens. Honestly, I'm afraid to go to an ophthalmologist to find out if they're anything significant, but I know I should.

Yes! Do what you are told! Wear the sun glasses, especially on the water. Don't look at electric arcs. Usually you can not feel screwing up until it is too damn late.

I'm just gonna go back to wearing glasses all the time. Even the clear lenses have protection against uv rays.

<--- An eye patch is very sexy, so don't worry about the bad eye.

I've actually considered using a patch while at work to give my left eye a break. But then I'd probably strain my other eye too much

I hate white people sometimes.

When I picked out my new glasses, the lady told me the new in thing are the glasses that are circular instead of rectangular. For fucks sake, I don't want anything to do with those.

Give me black plastic frames all day long.

Everyone has a different face shape and glasses look different on everyone. Its fucking stupid to think one glass style would look good on anyone. I like wearing my glasses actually, as long as you get the perfect pair that looks good on you, they are good.

Same here, but not the same cause. How were you exposed to ultraviolet?

More hipster chicks for me! And it is hippies who don't shave.

Fuck, the hipsters might think its unique and cool all of the sudden and stop shaving.
never trust a hipster.,

Dude, married or not, you'll never get laid wearing this those! They're called birth control glasses for a reason.......

Dyslexic me read that as electric cars.

Why would looking at electric cars be bad for your eyes? Oh... arcs.

Ha! Would you believe, I run through routines just like you did often. I mean way too often. Dyslexic and then some. I can read a page in a take, but I don't always get it in the right order
until I sloooow iiiit dowwwwwnnn, think it through.

That I don't know. I don't spend that much time outside. Only times I can think of were this summer putting new house siding on at my moms or when we went to Vegas last may.

What was your damage from?

In college when I would be in a hurry I would unintentionally do math problems backwards and still get the right answer. Halfway through the problem I would flip it.

Not sure if it was all interrelated but the nun who was my 1st grade teacher cured me of being left handed by slamming a huge key ring or ruler on my hand. By the end of 1st grade I was last in my class in reading. 2nd grade I started taking piano and by the end of the school year I was 1st in my class in reading.

I have keratoconus so I have to wear hard contact lenses and thanks to that I have to wear sunglasses whenever I'm outside for more than a few minutes.
