I appreciate everything Chip has done for Oregon, but screw him for doing this - and even entertaining the idea - so close to LOI Day. He couldn't wait a week and a half? The DT situation makes more sense now.

If Chip takes a handful of assistant coaches with him - crap.

This is a discouraging, discouraging day.

Gruden was in Eugene studying Oregon, correct?

Is this as good as it gets for a Beav? Not being able to win yourself, resort to celebrating in the confusion and angst of Duck fans? Congrats. You're all class. You're a true sports fan in the sense of sportsmanship.

So, Chip has a $3.8-$4.2m buyout, correct? I thought the Bucs were strapped?

Sucks if this is true for you guys. But with the talent you have on the team, I don't think it's the end of the world. I still expect them to compete next year and be good in the conference. Will be interested to see if your offense will change much. Maybe we will see even more De'Anthony Thomas plays?

Well this is depressing news. We have to be losing scholarships ect like people have already mentioned otherwise it better be a 50 million 2 year deal.
