I love the Rose Garden magic!!!

Guys, call me crazy on this, but am I wrong (or the only one) to think with how Webster has been playing on defense and how he has shown a little consistency he will be the starter even when Batum comes back?>

You're crazy.

Bayless has to show more consistency. He has these really good games and then has gone on a streak of mediocrity. I'd be willing to give him more minutes, but I agree you have to trust Miller.

This isn't a "throw in the towel and teach the young 'uns" season quite yet...

I agree on this as well. However, he was fairly consistent with his jumper tonight at least in the first half, so I thought it was perfect for him to finish because they would have to respect his jumper a little. I guess I just see things differently. It is cool. Do people prefer Miller to end a game over another young guy like Rudy? Just wondering?

It's going to take Batum a while to play himself into game shape anyway, so it's Webster's spot to lose.

Rudy is hardly a young guy, he has lots of international experience.

I prefer whomever makes us win to finish.

this. Although Batum might not get his starter spot again simply because Webster has been there so long. But Webster does make more points so he would be helpful coming off the bench.:dunno:

Rudy isn't a point guard. The team I would want on the floor right now at the end of the game is Miller/Roy/Webster/Aldridge/Howard.

FT 38-10

Even Blazer homers would have to agree that's a little lopsided (kind of reminds me of the old days when the Lakers were on the 38 side)

The L*kers got a taste of their own medicine.

Indication of us taking it to the basket?

This was an EPIC WIN!! Props has to go to Webster for his superb D on Kobe.

Amazing, both Kobe and Roy scored 32 points. Took Kobe 37 while Roy only 11. Amazing!

stat of the night:

kobe 32 points on 37 shots
roy 32 points on 11 shots

edit:^^^great minds think alike mgb!

OK, I have to say it - that play with 30 seconds left, where Miller was "hogging" the ball, and Roy moved without the ball and got the easy basket - that was why some of us don't believe the whole "Miller and Roy don't fit" claim.

Instead of an ISO by Roy, they played team ball and got a big bucket. I hope Nate (and Roy) were paying attention!
