The wife and I haven't ridden our bikes since the fall. Since then she's lost 20 lbs and started pushing the sled at the gym with 5 or 6 45 plates on it while my knees have fallen apart. And I've gained most of her 20lbs.

Her bike is a light Trek hybrid and mine is a heavy 29er with big two inch wide street tires on it.

Last fall I'd have to stop and wait for her to catch up.

Today we are on our first ride of the year and she left me in the dust like a kid on a tricycle.

I DO HAVE TO ADMIT SOMETHING

I think my disdain for legal marijuana was pretty well known. I still haven't tried anything with THC but this CBD oil shit is a fucking miracle for me.

I have pain cream I put on my knees in the morning. Before I would be limping by 10 am.

Now they don't even get sore until 2pm.

Now with the embarrassment of my wife blowing my doors off (she is coughing up phlegm from the flu still) hopefully I'll start to catch up.

I don't doubt it. Miracle drug. The shit the doctor gave me made my stomach bleed.

No big deal except for the whole "it can be fatal" stuff.

And it didn't work half as well.

For a topical pain reliever, my doctor has prescribed lidocaine ointment for me.

Mine was diclofenac sodium. Fukkkers gave me 5 tubes, well I paid 200 bucks for the five tubes and I have 3 unopened and 1 barely used.

I go to the drive through to pick it up and she says 200 bucks and I ask how long it should last and she says 4 months. I figure it is expensive but not bad for 4 months.

I pay and she hands me a giant bag. Nice, sell someone 5 big tubes of goo that he may not be able to take.

Lidocaine is very temporary. Deadens the nerves for about 15 minutes. After that, you're a drug addict and no use to society. I give away the first three doses. After that we can talk cash.
