MM, you've been trying to sow some fear and doubt around LaMarcus no resigning with Portland. If he's a loyalist, he'll resign. If he's not loyal at all, he'll go where the money is best. So he'll resign with us.

It's in his best interest to sign with the Blazers for a max deal, if they offer it. The only way he fucks it up is by getting horribly injured. Then we all lose.

As for Aldridge, lots of free agents have signed with other teams for less money. Houston could sell him on no state income taxes and his home state. How much less would it be minus taxes?

If Dallas gets Parsons, any chance we can still sign and trade mo to Dallas for Marion or carter? Maybe they like to do that more if they get Parsons.

Multi millionaires don't give two shits about state taxes. They tend to live wherever they want. The guy is filthy rich right now. I chuckle when folks mention it because in the stars view, it's never really an issue.

It seems like the pendulum would need to sway the other way eventually, as teams get cap strapped with mediocre players, the more prudent teams should find themselves with money to spend on quality players.

I have been fortunate to have a couple professional athletes as friends/neighbors, and both of them mentioned liking Houston because of the tax situation.


As an example, if the money was the same.....which it isn't, Melo would save 16+ million playing for Houston instead of NY. so saying multi millionaires don't give a shit about that is wrong
