We should have gone after Ed Davis. $2 mil a year is a bargain.

I think Ptd is the biggest metro city with one professional sports team
And play him over Robinson?
They can share duties. I'd prefer Davis over Freeland.
I don't think Joel is going to play much next season. There's barely going to be enough minutes for Robinson.
A home town with a bunch of number one picks on the roster and mega cap space.A hometown, though. Or close to it.

The New Orleans Pelicans have struck a deal to sign sharpshooter Jimmer Fredette, according to sources close to the process. Sources told ESPN.com that the Pelicans and Fredette have agreed to terms on a one-year deal at the league minimum
I like that signing for the minimum and where the Pelicans are heading.
While both the Cavs and The Blazers were denied this exception for Kyrie/Lillard iv heard the league is pondering this a great deal because of how great the Pelicans argument of "Come on he is short and white" is.Do the Pelicans get an exception to have a guy that runs in at half court and plays defense for him?
Mike Bresnahan: Busy day for the Lakers, who reached agreement with Ryan Kelly, Xavier Henry and Wesley Johnson. Not many roster spots left.
If he's not out for the season, Rashard would be a nice pickup on a vet minimum salary. He's a solid role player at this point in his career. He single handedly saved the Heat in a couple of those Pacer games by going crazy from the 3-point stripe.
Interesting take I heard early this morning. (Kinda free agency)...
What if the Lakers know something we don't? Could they not have a coach right now because they are waiting for Doc Rivers to leave the Clippers? Its stupid on the Lakers part to bank on it, but really fun to think about.
Has their been any indication that Rivers wants to leave the Clippers since the NBA took the team away from Sterling? It seems beyond unlikely to me that Rivers would leave over Sterling's comments when Sterling has been removed from the franchise. But I'm not sure if I've missed a development since then.
Looks like were going to have to put mo and Blake into a boxing ring. Winner gets the jersey # and the backup pg minutes.[TWEET]492016022522986496[/TWEET]
Mo is running out of places to go.
I'm surprised Mo hasn't already signed with his boys back in Cleveland.

I'd rather not, because Mo might win.
