That would seem to indicate to me that Henderson isn't necessarily in our plans. Hemight be option D for starting sg.

Or that Green can play 3 for us.
Or going 10 deep like GS and Ron Jeremy is their plan
Or letting SA know or think we are interested for a potential S&T

Crowder is young amd a solid all-around talent.

But I see him as a high level backup, 6th man.

I think Danny Green would be a good pickup. I'd rather throw the money at him than risk it on Matthews, as much as I like Matthews, it's too much of a risk.

He hits the 3 and plays good D, which is basically what we loved about Matthews.

I'd be wary about giving any spurs player money in free agency. I just don't trust we'd be getting the same player

Danny green is a system guy. If we pay him 10 million or more per year, he could screw us. This guy was a scrub until he went to the spurs. If afflalo went to pop he would probably play even better than green

Getting Green for 8 mil would be most. I doubt he will be available at that price though.

Just look at Belinelli - he bounced around until he landed in San Antonio and Pop's system turned him into a real player.

So wait... his defense and shooting skill isn't transferable to another team? Huh.

Dude, pop makes most guys better than they are. Green was a scrub before the spurs. Hevery well could transfer to another team. But I'm not willing to pay what it takes to find out. Dude is gonna get paid

Kinda reminds me of Derek "The glass man" Anderson. We fell for it once! Lol

@incarceratedbob: LaaaaaaaaaaMarcus Aldridge Wow>>>>>>

I don't know what he's hinting at but (after Woj) incarceratedbob is my go-to insider on twitter.

The Knicks don't have max money to offer -- s&t?

Probably going to sign with the Blazers for MLE

Btw remember last year when bosh was gonna go to Houston and Carmelo was going to leave NY for what was it, Chicago? In the end money always talks. He might be set for life but another $30 million sets up his children and probably their children as well. That's a lot of money to walk away from, no matter what.

Lolol I'm looking back at last years articles and marc stein reported that Houston was going to get a commitment from Bosh according to his sources. Tell me what makes him a credible reporter again?

And in that same article he also reported Houston would match the parsons offer sheet [emoji106]

Laaaaaaa as in Los Angeles?! Seriously I would fucking shit!

@espn_macmahon: Spotted hanging out with Chandler Parsons and DeAndre Jordan in LA this week: free agent SG Wesley Matthews.

I read his stuff as well. He's not wrong a lot. No idea what this means other than him hearing it's LA to LA

I don't see anything on the Knicks other than Bob is NY based and posts a lot about NY teams....especially the Jets

I don't buy it that just because Green is a Spur he won't be good elsewhere. If he can hit 3s and play good defense in SA he can do so elsewhere. Wes got a lot of open 3s in our "system", so Green should as well.

Apparently some execs believe Wes/Lopez/LMA will bolt:

"Some NBA execs are convinced former Marquette standout Wes Matthews will be bolting Portland in free agency. Matthews is expected to be one of three top-flight players to leave Portland during free agency, the others being star forward LaMarcus Aldridge, who appears to be leaning toward San Antonio, and starting center Robin Lopez, who figures to draw interest from numerous teams, including the Bucks."

I know it's not the popular opinion but to me the writing is on the wall. Your quote is how I expect it to play out with our guys. As far as who we bring in...No idea.

Quick mentioned that Neil wants players who can create their own shot.

As constructed this team is very predictable. Well coached teams expose this as we saw San Antonio and Memphis toy with this team. They aren't as close as some may think and maybe that's why most of the FA on this roster are bolting - and it's probably mutual, outside LMA.

Aminu can't create his own shot.
Monroe can, and I like him, but he stops the ball like Zach pre-Memphis.

Tobias Harris, who is young enough to grow with what's left of the core, should be more of a priority/target.

I like Harris, but...

He put up similarly strong numbers to Afflalo on that team.

It remains to be seen that he's the real deal.

I think Monte Ellis is a possibility if Wes bolts to the Mavs.

Yes to Monta. Similar system in Dallas so the adjustment shouldn't take too long. I know there would be questions defensively though.

On the other hand, if Wes was hanging out with Parsons and Chandler in LA then it could very well mean Wes is recruiting both those guys to Portland..the plot thickens!

I've mentioned Tobias numerous times; weren't you vehemently against him calling him a "tweener blackhole"? Quite the deviation, no?

What swayed you?

Well that would work if Parsons wasn't under contract! ;)
