Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

That wouldn't happen... it was done in Casey's lair.

Lair, chains, bucket, and lotion Cartman style, eh?

Cartman: Put the lotion in the f'ing basket!

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

haha okay. Thanks for the response Sly... you can merge this thread if you want... I totally didn't check to see if it had been put up... seeing as it was 3 hrs old, I should have just assumed it was.

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

HCP probably knows . . .

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

The Q & A somehow got picked up by NBA.com. Little credit was given to the forum or even a direct link to the thread it was from.

The Oregonian is saying they only knew about it from NBA.com and will not post a link directly to the Q & A thread in the forum.

We're getting no credit for it and I think we should, it's your guys great questions that has made this go viral.
That's some BULL. SHIT.
Who's a lawyer? What do the IP laws say about this? Let's get rich!

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

I think folks tend to forget that NBA players have friends, cousins, children, siblings, etc...who can all log on the the Blazers website and click on the link to this forum. If you open S2 it often says, 16 users and 80 guests are on the site or whatever number. Now with twitter and text msging, news travels fast

Fair enough.

O-Live is still butthurt that all the great and prolific posters migrated here...personally i think everyone here should create monikers with S2 incorporated into it and post links to S2 threads...

Or maybe they refuse to give any credit here because Sly posts entire articles from Canzano etc without linking the original source.

nah, Sly always credits original authors. Doesn't require a link if you site the source.

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

I notified the Blazers about this and they agree that we could be cited better than Oregonian links to NBA.com links to us.

We are certain to be doing more Q&A with players and staff on an ongoing basis.

The first question everyone should be asked is, "do you read RipCityTwo.com?"

"If so, do you know who MIXUM is?"

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

They might. When I've done shows and TV, I've always read what people say about me on message boards. I like knowing for better or worse.

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

I would bet you that some of them post on here from time to time. Hell I could be Robin Lopez and you guys would never know it.

Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum?

Oh I'm sure some of peeped in here time to time. The question is do they post in here?

I do think Management comes in here.

It seems like human nature. I think I would be pretty curious about what people were posting if I was an NBA player. OK to read it, I guess, if you don't take the posts too seriously.

I always include a link to the article. I do post the entire articles of Canzano and Quick because they're both so despised on here it's the only way I can get people to read them. You would be surprised at the number of people who flat out refuse to click on a link to a Canzano or Quick article.

I can tell you that I haven't clicked on either one for probably 3 years. They both make me want to barf.

Not surprised, a lot of people on here prefer the Mike and Mike sunshine and rainbows approach to the Blazers. Canzano and Quick rely on controversy over fallacy because it sells newspapers and probably because they cannot properly do their job because they have been excommunicated.

If anyone should still be pissed it should be the Blazer fans, Paul Allen created a shell company, defaulted on a loan because he refused to back it, did everything he could to avoid repaying his lender, TIAA-CREF who handles the retirements for teachers, thanks Paul for trying to rob teachers while you cruise on your giant ass yacht and submarine. He then tried to sell the team or in all likelihood move the team to Seattle.

The Blazers have had some bad luck but they have also been run like shit since Allen took over as owner.

2104 Batum? Really? I think he's secretly scared to face Wes. LOL.
