I like how you came back 6 minutes later to add that in. Like you sat on the original comment for a few minutes, and then...oh, wait! Shirtless photos. BURN! lol
What next? An hour long rant trying to get banned and then a name change?
How cute.
Aping barfo's act.
What next? Shirtless photos of your torso?
You're the
"- sharing your most personal struggles/illnesses
- posting shirtless photos of yourself
- posting photos of your girlfriend
- telling us all how much money you'll make in 5 years
- begging for approval from male internet posters" guy.
I know it upsets you that you're uneducated, and that you have to carry boxes for a living. I actually do respect that job, though The world needs people to load boxes onto trucks, too, no matter how overpaid they are. I'll be working up near Swan Island over the next near for a project. Maybe I can stop buy and expense a lunch for you and the fellas as my appreciation for your dull, yet necessary, work!
I use UPS on a daily basis, and I should probably take the time to thank the little people who make the packages move from A to B.
Source: http://blog.oregonlive.com/commuting/2012/06/average_trimet_rider_saves_879.htmlAfter Wednesday's TriMet board vote to cut bus service, ax the Free Rail Zone and hike fares to balance the agency's budget, riders could use some good news.
Well, here's some (if you believe the math of a public-transportation advocacy group):
The American Public Transportation Association on Thursday released its latest "Transit Savings Report" report, showing that the average Portland area commuter who takes the bus or train instead of driving is currently saving $879 a month and $10,546 a year.
Not too shabby. In fact, the Portland metro area landed ninth on the APTA annual transit-savings list, up two spots from 2011.
The national average: $812 this month and $9,743 annually.
The group says the rankings are based on the cost of commuting by public transportation compared to the cost of owning and driving a vehicle, including the June 11 average national gas price and the national unreserved monthly parking rate.
I have no problem with the fare increase, as I posted in this thread before it became dedicated to my occasional Smart Park/BWW pre-game meal, and then ride across the river on the Max.
Whoever changed the thread from Trimet to where you and your family eat should be banned!

Re: Fareless Max Zone Gone
That kind of sucks for Blazer games. I always park near Lloyd Center and take the max to the RG.
I park near Lloyd Center too, then walk to the RG. Not a tough walk by any stretch. I'm torn on the whole fareless square thing... on one hand, the only people who used it frequently were transients, so in that respect not having to smell them is ostensibly nice, but on the other hand that means that the only people TriMet can ticket are already broke and homeless, which doesn't do them much good.
I take Tri-Met every day to work (two busses and a max ride from SE to Nike). Even if tickets or monthly passes (which I use) doubled in price, it'd be cheap compared to gas ($200/month), insurance ($100/month), and a car payment ($250/month) for a second car. So I'm not down on them for raising prices.
Anyway... it's a complicated thing.
Whoever changed the thread from TriMet fares to where you park before Blazer games should be banned! They even made the post about them in the second post! :MARIS61:

Ban! Ban!
KILL THE WITCH!
I like to make every thread about me.
I'm deeply concerned about this new commute issue. Hopefully the extra $1.90 fare won't break the band for you. I hadn't even thought about parking at Lloyd Center, since I assumed they would tow people.
I like to score a little rock at Holladay Park before the game. If you wear a Kemp jersey you can get 2 bags for the price of three.
I used to always park at the movie theater parking lot since it's a Park and Ride but for some reason they were real pricks about it this year. They actual barricade the entrances and patrol during games. Now I park on the street on the south end of the mall.

I have an in at the KP Building and their lot.
You have to away from the RG for the BWW on Weidler, though.![]()
I was just at the BWW for the Blazer's Lotto party. I had a handful of 6 Free Wings cards from Blazer games so I was passing them out to everyone that showed up to the Blazer's section, lol.
my driver drops me off in front of the rose garden. usually i meet some sluts inside during the game though and we just bang at some cheap hotel in the area.
you should really get a nice hotel to bang your sluts in
Personally, I'd go for the nice sluts in the cheap hotel, rather than the cheap sluts in the nice hotel.
barfo
I should probably criticize what you do, but I'm guessing it works for you, so good for you!
Huh?
Here's how some of our ridership is saving money.

do people actually get checked when riding max? in all my years living in portland and riding that thing I've never once been asked to show my ticket.
its his new thing, he talks shit about peoples jobs if they are blue collar workers
