I really don't have a favorite band/album, so I'll just post one of my favorite Canadian ones.

Verlvet underground were great. One of the most inspirational bands of all time, though considerably quiet in the media IMO for the most part. Venus actually took their name from one of VU's tracks.

Aye, "Venus in Furs" is right. You know I wrote the official article for them (Venus) over at Wikipedia? I've noticed most Belgian artists make insanely original music. Velvet Underground will always be one of the best bands out there even far after they're gone.

GZA- Liquid Swords is probably my favorite album now.
