Since it's Halloween night what is your favorite scary movie?

Mother's Day.

"Punk sucks."

"Disco's stupid."

It's not really "scary" but I love Evil Dead 2 and its comedy sequel Army of Darkness

I'm not into slasher flicks, I'm all about the suspense thrillers.

I remember seeing Salem's Lot when I was little and those creepy vampire kids flying around and tapping at the windows freaked me out.

Also that movie from the 80's with the spikes coming out of that metal ball that was flying around in the funeral home. Can't remember the name but it was freaky.

Phantasm was the name of the movie..The first was pretty damn good

The first time I saw Salem's Lot, I was staying over at a friend's house, I think I was thirteen or fourteen at the most. We were sitting on hassocks leaning in close to the TV because his mom would have gone all Joan Crawford on us if she caught us watching a horror flick (she had grown up in one of those snake-shaking churches and was vehemently opposed to her kids watching TV without her, much less watching stuff like that) so we had the volume turned WAY down. Anyway, when the guy digs up the kids grave, opens the coffin, and finds the kid's eyes open, I flinched a little bit. When the kid sat up, however, it startled me so badly I fell over backwards, hitting my head on the carpeted floor hard enough to get a goose egg. To this day, I still flash back to that moment right after something startles me pretty good.

The Shinning
H: No beer and pizza makes homer go something something
M: Go Crazy?
H: Don't mind if I do!

When i was a kid, the exorcist scared the shit out of me. Other films that gave me nightmares were "Dawn of the Dead", "Salem's Lot", "Phantasm" and "Nightmare on Elm Street 1"

The current movies don't really scare me, but I really liked "Sinister". I pretty much like most movies that group that made Paranormal Activity put out. There was a really good movie 8 years ago called Quarantine. <--- Pretty Scary!

If anyone wants any advice, I recommend two movies that is 1 and the sequel. They are low budget, but a good story…. They are called "Grave Encounters 1 and 2"

Salem's Lot was pretty damn scary for a made for TV movie.

Dawn of the Dead was more funny than scary.

I really like The Conjuring, other than that I like the Halloween series (besides the 3rd).

The Conjuring was good. I normally don't like horror flicks, but that one was pretty scary.

When I was a kid, The Candy Man was pretty creepy.

Alien's was pretty awesome. The Predator scared the bajesus out of me, but I was five when I first saw it, so yeah....

I like the movies that seem like they are gonna freak you out, but don't. Like scary movies with good story lines......that's why I don't do the horror slasher movies.

Or this one freaked me out!!! The Strangers.

My biggest problem with horror movies are all the ridiculous cliches...

Run upstairs when the killer comes in the front door.

Hit him once and then go check to make sure he's dead.

Stay in the house when there's freaky shit happening every night.

Believe it or not, I think the third Poltergeist movie was the creepiest one of the series. Couldn't look at a mirror for a week after the first time I watched it.

The strangers was a great movie. It's more creepy than most because things like this actually do happen.

This one looks good:
